BG Medical Professional Charged with 3 Felony Counts, Consisting of Medicaid Scams

A Bowling Green doctor has been charged with numerous felony counts consisting of Medicaid scams.
An expense of info was handed up for Dr. Edward J. Wojciechowski, 48, on Thursday in Wood County Court of Common Pleas.
The charges consist of 2 counts of unlawful processing of drug files, one a fourth-degree felony and the other a fifth-degree felony, and one count of Medicaid scams, a fifth-degree felony.

The drug file counts, declaring events on June 6, 2016, charge that Wojciechowski “did intentionally make an incorrect declaration in any prescription, order, report or record needed” by the Ohio Revised Code “and the drug included is an unsafe drug or a substance, mix, preparation or substance consisted of” in Schedule I or II, omitting cannabis, in the fourth-degree count, and in Schedule III, IV or V in the fifth-degree count.

The Medicaid scams charge declares that Wojciechowski, in between Jan. 1, 2015, and Oct. 31, 2016, “did intentionally make or trigger to be made an incorrect or deceptive declaration or representation for use in acquiring repayment for the Medicaid program and the value of property, services or funds acquired in infraction of this area was ($ 1,000) or more and was less than ($ 7,500).”.
